Mr. Bharat Prasad Choudhary, Operator Vehicle, Grade E-3, Central Main Store (CMS), Jamshedpur has been our volunteer for the past two decades. Having joined the company in 1980, Mr. Bharat Prasad has actively involved in himself in several CS activities. In 2006 he became the proud recipient of the Sitaram Rungta Award, which was awarded to him for organising Blood Donation Camps in several communities and collecting 117 units from these camps.

Mr. Bharat also runs Nursery Classes for 95 students from various Bustees and is also conducting Sewing, Dance and Music Classes for the women in various Communities.

 

 

 

Mr. Mahesh Thakudesai, an FTA, joined Tata Motors in 1985 as an Air Compressor Mechanic. He became a part of the Tata Motors Kalasagar, as a guitarist in1990-91. The first musical programme that he participated in was “Lehare”, which was conducted by Mr Surendra Gadgil.

He recollects, “during this musical journey I participated in various prestigious programmes like’ Dealers Conference’, Special programme at Lake House, TMTC and in Mumbai. I was given the opportunity to become Secretary of the Music Wing of Kalasagar in 2001-02 and in that capacity; I got involved in the organisation of several musical programmes like “Chalte Chalte”, “Music Mirchi”, “Ghan Barase”, “Chale Chalo”, “Katha Raghvachi”, based on Geet Rmayan for the employees and their family members. I was also given opportunity to select amateur artists from Tata Motors family members. All this motivated me to learn more of classical and instrumental music, especially the Sarod”.

Mr. Mahesh has also organised musical programmes for the Community Centres in Pune city and Kothrud area and an inter-centre Antakshari competition as well.
